We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy in data entry.
Maintain accounts payable records and perform account reconciliations.
Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for transaction processing.
Support payroll processing as needed.
Conduct analysis of accounts payable transactions to identify trends and discrepancies.
Provide support for audits related to accounts payable functions.
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software - QuickBooks.
Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Experience with data entry and bookkeeping practices.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for account reconciliation tasks.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
