Job Description
Mondo Foods Co. Ltd. Mondo Foods is a premium distributor of quality food products and wine in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We are looking for an Account Payable and Account Receivable to join our team! As the General Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Daily Deposits
- Answer the customer phone calls
- Fill out the new vendor credit application forms
- Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Cash out the drivers\xe2\x80\x99 paper works and receptionists\xe2\x80\x99 cash boxes
- Acounts Payable invoices\xe2\x80\x99 input
- Prepare PST, GST & Corporate installments
- Issue semi-monthly A/R statements
- Weekly A/P payments/cheques
- Processing and posting financial transactions
- Assisting with year-end inventory
- Assisting the Controller as required
- Bookkeeping/accounting experience (2 years)
- Positive and professional attitude
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- High level of attention to detail
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Payroll experience is considered an asset
- Ability to work in a multi company environment is considered an asset
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products, ERP systems, financial reporting, and analysis tools.
