Position Overview
We are currently seeking an
Account Operations Manager
to lead and expand our internal
Customer Support
,
Collections
, and
Legal Operations
based out of our
Edmonton office
. This is a senior-level position reporting directly to executive leadership, responsible for managing day-to-day operational performance while driving strategic growth and process excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and scale internal operations across customer service, collections, and legal enforcement functions.
Lead, mentor, and support teams including paralegals and legal collection agents to ensure compliance and performance targets are met.
Develop and implement operational strategies that align with company growth and client requirements.
Analyze performance metrics and deliver insights to improve efficiency, quality, and recovery rates.
Collaborate with executive leadership to evaluate technology solutions and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with federal and provincial regulations governing the ARM (Accounts Receivable Management) industry.
Support business development efforts by ensuring operational readiness and capacity to onboard new portfolios.
Qualifications
Minimum
10 years of experience
in the
debt collection or accounts receivable management industry
.
Proven experience managing legal operations or working directly with legal collection teams and paralegals.
Strong leadership skills with a history of building and scaling high-performing teams.
In-depth knowledge of Canadian collections laws and regulatory environments.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Results-oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
