We are hiring an Account Manager for Global Vintners Inc. (GVI) This person will help drive sales in Ontario, build strong brand visibility for all GVI brands, and deliver exceptional service working with our retail partners. This person will be a skilled relationship builder, creative and solution oriented. This role has you travelling to various Ontario hubs visiting individual retail locations quarterly.
This teammate will be responsible for -
Sales
Deliver Territory sales numbers as outlined in the Annual Sales Plan while adhering to and maintaining all forecasted expenses and promotional budgets.
Territory Management
Develop and manage the sales territory by creating monthly call plans to maximize sales efficiency. Identify growth opportunities within the territory and convert existing stores or open new points of distribution to strengthen GVI's presence within the territory. Regularly visit competitive stores to report on activity and identify potential conversion opportunities.
Service Independent Retailer network
Provide technical, promotional & sales support that enhances our retailer's revenue & profitability. Add further value by sharing best practices throughout the Retailer network. Build & maintain strong relationships with Retailers.
ARP Account Management
Support the existing Winexpert Retailer network in promoting their business and our brands through the development and execution of effective advertising, pricing, merchandising and promotional campaigns.
Maintain and enforce commitments made under all existing ARP agreements. Identify all qualified retailer opportunities for the program to grow the ARP network as per defined territorial targets. Leverage all resources and tools within the program to move retailers upwards within the tier structure.
Organization & Time Management
Maintain sales materials, exceptional product knowledge and all relevant GVI promotional activity. Actively participate in all Sales Meetings and conference calls.
Administration
Manage personal, co-op, BDF and all other expenditures to the monthly and annual budget. Maintain a daily metrics report identifying calls completed with clear objectives and achievements for each call. Report all and any information on competitive activity and market trends. Participate and respond to all projects and inquiries from management on a timely basis.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Technical knowledge or ability to learn.
Communication skills, oral & written (English)
Maintenance of privileged and confidential information relating to company sales.
Frequent & extensive overnight travel required.
20% of regular business hours are to be spent performing administrative duties at home office.
Flexible outside regular business hours.
Develop & work on a monthly contact plan.

The teammate will bring the following skills, knowledge and experiences -
University/college diploma in a business-related discipline and/or equivalent experience.
3 - 5 years of outside sales experience required.
Frequent & extensive overnight travel required.
Wine/Wine Kits knowledge an asset.
Flexible outside regular business hours.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (includes Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
Communication skills, oral & written.
Maintenance of privileged and confidential information relating to company sales.
