We are currently looking for an Account Manager based in the greater Toronto area. As one of our Test & Measurement Account Managers, you will be part of a customer-focused team dedicated to maximizing sales through the development of new business and working closely with our existing customers utilizing a solutions-based sales approach. Products include a growing portfolio of spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and communication test systems.

Your tasks

Understand customer needs and identify how Rohde & Schwarz products can provide technical solutions Create new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships - Grow the territory and exceed quota - Partner with distribution and rental partners to grow R&S base business - Build and manage a strong sales funnel - Provide input and feedback to product marketing, service and development groups on customer product and application requirements

Your qualifications

BSEE (or equivalent) Five+ years of technical sales experience including educational market. Experience in public tenders and proposals. An understanding of current electronic industry technologies including wireless, aerospace and defense, and educational institutes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for selling, an intense focus on customer service and an overwhelming desire to succeed Ability to work within a team environment with strong communication and collaborating skills to achieve growth objectives. Ability to travel within assigned territory in Ontario and travel to US and Europe occasionally. French is not required but a plus.
