About the Role:

The Programmatic Account Manager will be the key point of contact for programmatic guaranteed ad sales. You will work closely alongside linear and digital teams focused on programmatic ad revenue across the full Corus portfolio, as well as supporting agency initiatives with SSP partners and internal sales teams. You will develop and foster existing trade desk relationships, identify new business opportunities and provide innovative solutions for programmatic partners.

You will contribute by:

  • Drive programmatic ad sales via agency trade desks, client direct, and platform sales teams to achieve/exceed programmatic revenue targets.
  • Lead strategic ad sales and innovative solutions conversations with agencies, client direct teams, to identify and develop new/existing business opportunities.
  • Assess client KPIs, consider Corus value proposition & opportunities to provide strategic programmatic sales offering cross platform.
  • Knowledgeable regarding programmatic ecosystem, ad serving, data segmentation, technical infrastructure, and data ad sales with proven experience in driving business across agency trade desks, platform partners and client direct teams.
  • Develop a high-level understanding of Corus\xe2\x80\x99s programmatic ad tech stack, including SSP capabilities, hierarchy, functionality and programmatic strategy using multi-platform market offering.
  • Point of contact for all programmatic ad sales support across agency and platform partners including setup of programmatic guaranteed campaigns within all platform channels, maintaining agency and client direct rates.
  • Work collaboratively across all business lines including linear and digital sales, tempo, and revenue management to provide a holistic business view, align ad opportunities, and solutions fit well with programmatic sales.
  • Accurately forecast agency trade desk/territory performance, track and provide sales pipeline opportunities as well as complete territory analysis to Director of Programmatic Sales and Business Development.
  • Identify, provide and present information and recommendations for linear optimization based on learnings acquired in digital programmatic.
  • Understanding of Corus Privacy, Site Terms of Use, IAB Standards, Google Analytics, CASL and understanding of ad standards. - Include i-gaming, Kids Advertising, and Cannabis ad requirement guidelines.
  • Keep up to date with general digital and programmatic industry trends and performance of all Corus digital brands.
Skills and experience you will bring:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Digital Sales. Direct or PG Video/Display/Data, Audio, Programmatic, and new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated experience in proactively developing and presenting digital media concepts with a focus on strategic programmatic ad sales.
  • Knowledgeable in the digital advertising landscape, specifically ad serving and related technologies: brand safety, viewability, measurement pixels and other common 3rd party verification systems (IAS, MOAT, DV).
  • Experience and working knowledge with multiple digital platforms, ad exchanges, ad networks: DSPs, SSPs, DMPs. High-level understanding of platform technical capabilities and programmatic industry solutions is required. Thorough understanding of third-party verification vendors, video, display, audio, and mobile assets. Understanding tag structure is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Google Ad Manager UI, proposal creation and workflow, reporting module is required. Understanding AdBook is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with a heavy workload.
  • Strong work ethic with clear leadership, ownership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional MS Office understanding (especially PowerPoint)
  • Solid organizational, planning, problem solving, time management and analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented, positive, proactive approach to work.
  • Effective communication and listening skills.
  • Proven ability to work directly with clients as well as internal stakeholders across multiple teams.
