Job Overview


We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager (Outside Sales Representative) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in B2B sales, with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective strategies to drive sales growth.

Compensation



The role is a salary + commission based role. Earning potential can be exemplary for the correct candidate.

Duties



Expand Rona Manotick's business through New Customers, expanding relationships with existing customers, and finding new opportunities. Promote, sell, and source full line of building material products to a range of clients including new and existing contractors, builders, general contractors, and developers. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and referrals. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Prepare quantity estimates and sales quotes. Review material requirements including blueprint and material take-offs. Develop and maintain sales for accounts in assigned sales territory. Establish schedule for maintaining contact with established accounts. Regularly report on progress to senior management. Conduct market analysis to identify potential clients and understand industry trends. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations tailored to the needs of prospective clients. Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring compliance with company policies. Provide leadership and guidance to junior sales staff as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements



Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably but not required in a similar industry including building materials sales, construction and development. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport quickly. Proficiency in CRM software for account management and sales tracking. Strong analytical skills to assess market data and make informed decisions. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results.
