Rogers Sports & Media in Toronto is looking for a dynamic Account Manager to manage a territory of direct clients. The right candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment and drive incremental revenue across the premium portfolio of RSM\'s assets. This position requires expertise in all aspects of the sales process from superior communication, relationship building abilities, accurate forecasting skills, solution selling and strong closing abilities, keen to new business development with intensive prospecting with customers through a detailed understanding of the clients business needs.

What you will be doing:

  • Leading sales efforts for our new Out of Home offering for an identified territory of agencies and clients
  • Oversee and negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize revenues
  • Manage Salesforce opportunities through the sales and prospecting cycle with 100% accuracy
  • Understand and communicate technical requirements of our new Digital Out of Home offering
  • Prepare and present high-quality presentations customized to each client and or agency\'s specific need in partnership with the key sales teams and the Elevate Group at Rogers Sports and Media
  • Work closely with our Insights and Creative Services groups to develop solutions that will allow Rogers Sports and Media to stand out in a competitive marketplace
  • Collaborate with identified sales support to maximize revenue and optimize campaigns
  • Work within a deadline driven environment
  • Attend key industry events and provide insight back to the Rogers Sports and Media team
What you will bring...
  • Previous experience in advertising sales, preferably in the Out of Home space
  • Proven track record of delivering against sales targets
  • Excellent presentation skills, client facing
  • Superior sales pitch development skills with a focus on insight, strategy and ROI
  • Strong creative skills or similar ability to recognize great ideas and effectively communicate this to our clients
  • Intermediate to advanced level of experience working with Salesforce
  • Team based collaboration skills
  • Superior communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to apply a creative approach to problem solving
  • A great attitude and a passion for smart solutions
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
