Date Posted: 2024-05-28Country: CanadaLocation: LOC13049 1400 South Service Road West,Oakville,Ontario,L6L 5Y7,CanadaPosition Role Type: UnspecifiedSummaryCollins Aerospace is looking to hire an Account Manager who will be responsible for all tactical supply chain functions in support of the business unit, including; demand validation, purchase order creation, PO management, delivery assurance and exception message management.The position is working in a hybrid capacity at our Oakville facility.Primary ResponsibilitiesEnsure uninterrupted flow of material to support manufacturing and customer OTDReview purchase requisitions against the master production schedule to validate demandCarries out Procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysisCreate POs in accordance with requisitions and contractual requirementsExpedite material as needed; negotiating and working changes within supply baseEnsure inventory goals and objectives are metNegotiate with suppliers as required for reschedules in support of inventory and business objectivesSupport the Supply Chain Sales and Inventory Planning (SIOP) processSupport the Ops Excellence team and internal stakeholdersAssist the Supplier Performance evaluation processUnderstands the basic tools in project management (SOW, WBS, responsibility matrix, change management, resource management, scheduling) to follow up supplier deliverablesLeads regular supplier reviewsEnsures timely resolution of any invoice issuesSupports QN process and executes RTV items in timely mannerResponds to inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellationsBasic QualificationsTypically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior supply chain/ procurement experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant supply chain/ procurement experience is requiredExperience in a fast paced environment.Experience with Enterprise Planning Resource (ERP) softwareUnderstanding supply chain management processesSuccessful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP and be eligible to work in CanadaPreferred QualificationsExperience in Aerospace or Manufacturing industry.Experience with SAPProfessional Certification in Supply Chain Management.Multi tasker with problem solving skillsCommunication and interpersonal skillsCollins Aerospace, an RTX company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
