We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Accountant Manager to become the next valued member of our team. • Edmonton, AB
• Full-time, permanent

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing support to the commercial lines team and being the primary customer service contact either in person, telephone or email
• Respond to customer request directly (or indirectly from the Producer), compiling information and submitting information to appropriate insurance companies
• Participate in account reviews; assist in up-selling of products and services and working attentively to provide value-added services for clients
• Prepare submissions and complete applications
• Complete proposals, cover notes, customer correspondence, certificates, and invoicing
• Follow up with clients to resolve outstanding matters
• Stay up to date on product knowledge and build relationship with our insurance partners
• Market accounts that includes new, renewal, and midterm changes
• Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of related and progressive experience in the insurance industry with a strong working knowledge of commercial insurance products
• Experience in an insurance brokerage
• Alberta Level 2 License
• CIP or CAIB designation, or working towards is considered an asset
