About the role
Join the Client Relations Management team, in the Account Manager, Client Relations position. In this role, you will promote CMHC's mortgage loan insurance products and services and homeowner business to our key clients, while establishing and maintaining harmonious business relationships across your assigned portfolio.
What you'll do:
Collaborate with Commercial Solutions management to develop targeted strategies for homeowner clients, and actively participate in strategic planning.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key lenders and decision makers, including initiating new partnerships in support of business objectives.
Contribute to the development of business plans and create tactical plans aligned with clients' needs and business volumes.
Work with the Analytics team to leverage data, validate territorial strategies and support business growth.
Design and conduct training, presentations and webinars to improve understanding of CMHC products and mortgage loan insurance policies.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of CMHC products and services, monitor policy changes, and work with the Underwriting team to ensure they are well understood.
Organize client events in partnership with regional teams, implement personalized sales and marketing strategies, and travel regularly across Quebec to meet with clients and partners.
Monitor market trends, join professional groups (e.g., MPC) and participate in industry events to strengthen relationships and support clients.
What you should have:
University degree in finance, business administration or marketing and over 5 years' experience in the mortgage industry, and expertise in loan origination, insurance, and mortgage loan underwriting.
Solid financial analysis and creditworthiness assessment skills.
Proficiency in sales techniques and client relationship management
Excellent command of presentation tools and computer systems.
Proven communication, negotiation and strategic relationship skills.
Experience in training, group facilitation and professional presentations.
Capacity to work independently, results-oriented and ability to operate in dynamic environments.
A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle, as this position requires travel regularly across the province of Quebec, including site visits to meet with clients and partners.
It would be great if you also had:
Extended knowledge of CMHC's business, mandate and objectives is an asset.
