Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Inter-Carrier & Wholesale Services, this role is responsible for providing highly responsive and effective account management for Eastlink's existing and perspective international wholesale partners. This role requires a high sense of urgency, excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
The Carrier Services Account Manager, will work closely with international wholesale partners and internal Eastlink colleagues to:

  • Understand immediate as well as medium and longer term requirements;
  • Ensure a timely response to customer requests and delivery of services;
  • Support and resolve all billing and customer service inquiries;
  • Provide connectivity solutions;
  • Create an amazing customer experience;
  • Prepare for business cases for approval;
  • Utilize our Salesforce system to track opportunities through sales and support cycles;
  • Provide monthly reporting on sales results and issues to be resolved;
  • Prepare for and participate in quarterly business sales review meetings;
  • Travel when required to meet with wholesale partners.
Qualifications:
To be successful, the individual must be results oriented and have a strong commitment to customer service. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education in business and/or engineering, or a related field and will have experience in account/client management. Experience and knowledge of the telecommunication industry would be considered an asset. This position will require access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license. Some flexibility with work schedules will be needed.
The successful candidate must provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 upon hire, subject to Federal Human rights law.
