The Opportunity
As an Account Executive at VoPay, you will be responsible for selling VoPay's innovative Fintech-As-A-Service platform and related services to clients in different industries, primarily in Canada and the US. This position will work closely with:Marketing team on converting generated leads into signed customers.
Implementation Specialists and Account Managers for client handoff once the contract is signed.
Director of Sales to ensure targets and KPIs are met.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the sales performance including prospecting, lead qualification, customer development, exceeding sales quotas and representing VoPay with the highest degree of advocacy and professionalism.
Partner with the Marketing team to execute sales cycles against inbound and targeted outbound prospects.
Support Business Development goals through consistent, high-volume prospecting initiatives.
Identify clients' challenges and leverage your product expertise to offer appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with all VoPay teams to drive personal and company success including Marketing, Technical solutions, Onboarding, and Customer Success.
Use HubSpot to record and update all applicable sales cycle activity, progress and pipeline to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analytics.
Adhere to the VoPay standards of system use, sales cycle management and sales certification including identifying and reporting improvements to drive performance across the Team.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in a quota-carrying Sales Executive or equivalent role, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience as a sales professional in FinTech and/or SaaS industries
Proficiency in using CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce to manage pipelines and track sales performance
Proven success in outbound sales, LinkedIn prospecting, and account-based marketing (ABM)
Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, Engineering departments, and key decision-makers across organizations
Strong, self-driven mentality is essential; experience in a mid-stage start-up is a plus;
A passion for delivering customer success--dedicated to securing the right outcomes and acting as a true advocate for clients
Excellent team spirit and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, building consensus and driving results
Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to guide customers and spot opportunities for growth
Base Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000 based on experience.
