About the Role
We're looking for a
dynamic and entrepreneurial Account Executive
to join our growing Sales team. In this client-facing role, you'll act as the primary point of contact for key accounts - building relationships, identifying opportunities, and crafting customized AV and UC solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
You'll combine strategic thinking, technical curiosity, and consultative selling skills to grow existing accounts and capture new business across Canada and beyond.
What You Will Do
Develop and grow client relationships
- Understand client needs, build trust, and serve as their go-to partner for AV and ICAT solutions.
Own the sales cycle
- From prospecting and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and close.
Drive new business growth
- Execute an aggressive sales strategy that expands sparkAV's market presence and exceeds quarterly revenue targets.
Deliver tailored solutions
- Collaborate with our Design & Innovation teams to propose technology solutions aligned with client goals, budget, and timelines.
Create high-quality proposals and forecasts
- Use
Jetbuilt
,
Smartsheet
, and CRM tools to maintain accurate pipelines and forecasts.
Stay ahead of trends
- Maintain strong knowledge of emerging AV, UC, and digital collaboration technologies.
Partner cross-functionally
- Work with Marketing to support outreach campaigns, events, and bid opportunities; with Operations to ensure seamless project delivery.
Represent sparkAV
- Deliver professional presentations to enterprise clients, industry partners, and trade associations.
Achieve measurable results
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, or a related field (MBA a plus).
Minimum
3+ years of experience
in solution-based sales within the
ProAV, Unified Communications (UC), or ICAT
industries.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
AVIXA CTS
certification (CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I) preferred; willingness to earn post-hire required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Zoom, WebEx, CRMs, and related business tools.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Bilingual English/French proficiency is an asset.
