POSITION SUMMARY:





Committed to excellence, the Account Executive, Ticket Sales is responsible for meeting and exceeding ongoing ticket sales revenue targets for the Abbotsford Canucks.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Building relationships with both existing and prospective clients with a goal of generating revenue from ticket sales and exceeding sales targets for Membership and Group Sales Developing, implementing, and maintaining sales campaigns for Abbotsford Canucks by pursuing sales leads and actively prospecting Assisting the Premium Sales team in the prospecting and selling of Suite and Loge areas in the Abbotsford Centre for hockey and events Working closely with sales management team to create and develop new sales concepts Log and track all touchpoints (calls, emails, text, appointments etc) in Salesforce CRM system, providing weekly updates to the Ticket Sales Manager on pipeline Completing at least 50 calls per day and 5-10 face-to-face meetings per week Creating and presenting sales proposals to clients Attending local and area networking opportunities Participating in game day events including sales booth execution

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:




Post-secondary education in a related field such as business, marketing or sport management At least 3 years of direct sales and client account management experience, ideally in a ticketing capacity Extensive computer knowledge, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Polished presentation skills, with an ability to think and react to situations confidently Excellent relationship building and social skills; superior communication skills Creative and innovative team player with cooperative attitude A go-getter, with drive and initiative to succeed who is assertive, persistent, and results oriented A proven dedication to outstanding client service Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast paced environment Superior attention to detail and strong organizational and administrative skills Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Experience with Archtics and Ticketmaster technology is an asset
