Position Overview
The Account Executive will focus primarily on managing, retaining, and expanding relationships with existing clients. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who excels at understanding client needs, providing proactive support, and identifying opportunities for repeat funding or upsell. You will serve as the trusted point of contact for business owners throughout their lifecycle with 2M7 Financial.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management & Relationship Building
Serve as the primary contact for an assigned portfolio of existing clients.
Proactively reach out to clients to check in on their business growth, upcoming capital needs, and satisfaction with current services.
Build strong, long-term relationships based on trust, responsiveness, and transparency.
Conduct periodic reviews to understand evolving client needs and ensure they are receiving the appropriate level of support.
Retention & Renewals
Monitor upcoming renewals, repayments, and refinancing opportunities.
Present clients with new or enhanced funding options when appropriate.
Manage the renewal and repeat-funding process from qualification to funding.
Maintain high retention rates and minimize client churn.
Account Growth
Collaborate with underwriting to structure competitive, suitable offers.
Operational & Administrative Tasks
Ensure timely follow-up on all client inquiries and documentation needs.
Keep CRM records up to date with client notes, renewal timelines, touchpoints, and pipeline status.
Coordinate with internal departments (underwriting, customer service, collections, etc.) to ensure seamless client experiences.
Track client engagement and performance metrics, and report on portfolio activity.
Qualifications
Strong relationship-building skills with a client-first attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to manage a high volume of accounts with attention to detail and deadlines.
Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
Understanding of financial products, underwriting basics, or small-business lending is an asset.
