YOUR IMPACT
OpenText has established global Centers of Excellence for Account Development to support best-in-class cloud software technology and solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with a high-performing team to attract and qualify prospects exploring OpenText solutions. Your efforts will directly contribute to generating sales opportunities, driving pipeline growth, and achieving revenue goals.

With a strong foundation in B2B lead generation and business development, you will receive top-notch onboarding, on-the-job coaching, and personalized development to support your professional growth and future roles in Sales, Pre-Sales, Solution Consultancy, or Management.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

• Partner with Account Executives to develop a territory strategy for discovering, nurturing, and qualifying a pipeline of leads. xe2x80xa2 Generate new business opportunities through outbound cold calling, personalized emails, social media engagement, and video communications. xe2x80xa2 Qualify and develop inbound leads generated by campaigns and digital events, building customer profiles and identifying key pain points OpenText can resolve. xe2x80xa2 Act as part of a "win team" to support the progression of sales opportunities, re-engaging leads and nurturing relationships to drive pipeline acceleration and closure. xe2x80xa2 Build trusted customer relationships by acting as a business advisor and mapping the buying process with targeted contacts.
• Leverage Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, DiscoverOrg, and Outreach to identify contacts, track progress, and forecast outcomes.
• Qualify leads using the BANT criteria (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) to ensure high-quality Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
• Receive ongoing coaching and participate in skill-building activities to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Proven success in achieving or exceeding quarterly sales targets. xe2x80xa2 Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to listen, understand, and address prospectsxe2x80x99 business challenges. xe2x80xa2 Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. xe2x80xa2 Creativity and resilience when researching leads and cold calling prospects. xe2x80xa2 Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where change is constant.
• Organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Goal-oriented mindset with strong analytical abilities and a track record of ownership and execution.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and DiscoverOrg is a plus.
• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree or 1xe2x80x932 years of proven outbound lead generation experience in a technology environment preferred.
