Job Description

Blara Organic House - An organic cotton fashion brand that is expanding and we're looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team.

As a Business Development, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to increase sales and revenue for our organic cotton fashion brand. You will also be responsible for managing relationships with existing clients and developing new partnerships with retailers and distributors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, with experience in the fashion industry and a passion for sustainability. You should be a self-starter with excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Requirements



Proven experience in business development, sales account executive, or a related role is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders. Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:



Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market and identify potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach. Gain insight into the dynamics of the garment industry through a thorough analysis of market reports. Build strong relationships with accounts by understanding their needs and offering tailored support. Maintain regular communication to foster trust and loyalty. Coordinate event logistics, from preparing materials to managing booth setup. Attend shows to present the brand and follow up with leads post-event. Collaborate within the marketing teams and external teams to facilitate order fulfillment. Contribute to packaging development, assist with creating product and brand marketing content, and support brand storytelling across channels. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities and client interactions in the CRM system. Provide valuable feedback to the marketing and product teams based on prospect insights and market trends. Be adept at interpreting and analyzing Profit and Loss (P&L), Earnings, and Inventory reports. Oversee contracts with low to medium risk, crafting procurement and contract documentation. Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and provide insights and feedback on the effectiveness of marketing strategies. Capable of travel domestically with occasional international travel.
