We are seeking an Account Analyst to join our growing team in Sussex NB. Under the direction of the owner, and working closely with our Sales team, the Account Analyst will be responsible for analyzing accounts, responding to inquiries, and tracking and resolving outstanding invoices. The role requires ongoing collaboration with Sales and direct interaction with customers, employees, and the business owner.
Position Details:
Full-time, on-site, seasonal role (Spring, Summer, and early Fall are peak periods).
Part-time work available during Winter months (negotiable).
Must already be located in or around the Sussex area in order to qualify

Responsibilities
Analyze customer accounts and monitor receivables.
Track and resolve outstanding invoices in a timely manner.
Provide account-related support and act as a resource for inquiries
Collaborate closely with Sales to ensure customer needs are met.
Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and management.
Scope of Activities
Ensure timely collection of unpaid balances, respond to inquiries, steward collection performance, and maintain, monitor, and reconcile receivables.
Establish and maintain strong customer relations (primarily via telephone), investigate missing or unresolved payments/discrepancies, confirm orders, and address issues and feedback.
Provide insights on key trends and priorities ahead of sales visits, follow up to ensure closure on action items, and escalate issues where needed.
Share Timely updates to avoid duplication and / or omissions.
Recommend credit limits, monitor COD adherence, and advise credit privileges.
Keep Sales, Operations Lead, and Owner updated on customer feedback as appropriate. Maintain accurate customer records and initiate customer communications as the season opens and closes.
Support inventory management by ensuring timely invoicing, initiating weekly order summaries, and transferring inventory as needed.
Lead collection activities, collaborate with colleagues to prepare content, and work with Sales to resolve potential issues.
Skills
College Diploma an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and QuickBooks
Experience in accounts payable and receivable
Strong listening skills and clear communication (verbal and written)
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Time management and ability to prioritize competing demands
Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented
Positive attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment
