  • Provide superior customer service to clients
  • Read and understand Maritime Pacific Single Quarter\xe2\x80\x99s Regulations
  • Act as building Fire Warden
  • Work outside in various weather conditions for general cleaning/upkeep
  • Complete March In/Out routines
  • Complete rounds of building
  • Complete damage reports
  • Submit work orders with Real Property Operations
  • Maintain key control
  • Maintain building safety equipment (first aid kits, eye wash stations, emergency showers, earthquake survival kits)
  • Prepare linen exchanges
  • Report to BAccnO regarding needs for linen, furniture, supplies, etc.
  • Use Microsoft Office suite of software including: MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Work, MS Access, MS PowerPoint
  • Extensively use Base Accommodation software (MS Access and QuickQuarters)
  • Liaise with outside agencies such as Preventative Medicine, Real Property Operations, DND Fire Services, and other units to ensure reservations needs are understood
  • Execute emergency procedures (fire, active shooter, earthquake, building evacuations, etc.)
  • Be responsible to the Base Accommodation\xe2\x80\x99s Officer and Base Administration Chain of Command
  • Use POS equipment to process debit/credit payments
Qualifications and Experience
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Ability to remain alert while on duty.
  • Ability to work in a range of weather conditions throughout shift.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a valid BC security worker\'s license.
  • Be comfortable using computers.
  • Fluent in the English language - written, verbal and reading skills.
  • Have a positive attitude with a professional demeanour.
  • Have excellent attention to complete incident report writing.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable handling emergencies in a calm manner \xe2\x80\x93 training & support will be provided.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situations.
