Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable
Academic Tutor
to support students inMath
andEnglish Reading
(primarily K-6 level). This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education and helping students build strong foundational skills and confidence.Key Responsibilities
Provide 1-on-1 or small group tutoring sessions in Math and English Reading Adapt teaching methods to suit students' learning styles and academic levels Prepare and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning materials Monitor progress and communicate effectively with parents Support students with school homework or enrichment tasks as needed
Requirements
Currently residing in Canada Language Proficiency: English - Native-like or bilingual fluency required for teaching English reading and literacy Experience tutoring or teaching Math and/or English to children or youth Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, patient, and passionate about supporting student learning Able to commit to consistent weekly sessions
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$40.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
