The Academic Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end student operations process--from initial inquiry and eligibility screening to document alignment, OSAP filing, and academic coordination with partner colleges. This role requires excellent communication, organizational precision, and familiarity with college admissions and student funding systems in Ontario.You will collaborate with students, admissions officers, and institutional partners to ensure every application moves smoothly and on time while maintaining full compliance with college and OSAP policies.
Responsibilities
Student Admissions & OSAP Support
Screen students for eligibility and verify academic documentation.
Guide students through the OSAP and financial-aid process, ensuring complete and accurate submissions.
Maintain secure, up-to-date digital and paper records for all student files.
Communicate clearly with students about missing or incorrect documents and next steps.
Academic Operations & Coordination
Coordinate admissions, class scheduling, and student onboarding with partner colleges.
Track and update student application progress through CRM or student management systems.
Generate weekly and monthly operations reports for management.
Ensure deadlines, policies, and funding compliance requirements are consistently met.
Team & Communication
Liaise between students, partner colleges, and EduGlobal departments to resolve inquiries efficiently.
Provide high-quality service that reflects EduGlobal's professional and ethical standards.
Assist with academic events, orientations, and student success initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or Administration (preferred).
2+ years of experience in academic operations, student services, or educational consulting.
Strong understanding of OSAP or other student financial-aid processes in Ontario.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.
