Job Summary


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Therapist / tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities, providing individualized therapy based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the lives of children through effective therapeutic interventions and collaboration with families and other professionals.

Duties



Support school-aged children with academic support in math, reading, and writing Implement individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) tailored to each child's specific needs. Conduct assessments and collect data to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and effective communication regarding each child's progress. Provide guidance and support to families in implementing strategies at home to reinforce learning and behavioral goals. Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, including data collection, case management notes, and progress reports. Stay informed on best practices in ABA therapy, pediatric care, and special education through ongoing research and professional development.

Qualifications



A degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field is preferred. Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pediatric care is beneficial. Familiarity with special education practices and case management is a plus. Strong data collection skills for tracking patient progress effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children and their families. A passion for working with children and a commitment to their development and well-being.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
