that you are interested in. One person can apply for and hold multiple positions. Not all jobs NEED to be done simultaneously/ immediately, as long as they can be started in earnest soon. Some positions (property maintenance can be ongoing, part-time or full-time for a time and then casual and ongoing. Filing and Cleaning jobs are short-term, but can be full-time until finished. Pay, term of position, and schedule for each project are job and expertise-specific. We can also be open to suggestions for more elaborate solutions than what are outlined below.

JOB 1) LAWN Maintenance:

Cutting the grass- primarily with a diesel John Deere 6' wide zero turn Front Deck Riding mower. There are several acres in a large business acreage / small farm environment which require regular maintenance. Attention to detail and mechanical awareness are required. Equipment maintenance experience is valued. (Including: Sharpening & replacing mower blades, maintaining the cooling system, monitoring & servicing fluids and tires.) Immediate Start. Ideally, this position will be full-time or near full-time for the first few days.

Job 2) PAPER & RECEIPT Filing:

Organizing boxes of papers into Files and Folders. This requires meticulous attention to detail and some coffee. Working fast and efficiently is mandatory. Immediate start available. Ideally full time until complete. Knowledge of QuickBooks is not required but could result in further work moving forward. - Immediate Start.

JOB 3) SMALL Tool PROPERTY MAINTENANCE:

Operating multiple small gas engines (Stihl, Honda), from Weed Wackers, Chainsaws, Blowers and Log Splitters. The ability to run, maintain & service these tools independently and safely is required. (A familiarization lesson is provided. In the case of work with a Chainsaw, this includes knowledge of its safe use, of tree falling, of chain sharpening and maintenance, etc.) Immediate Start.

Job 4) MOVING FURNITURE:

Moving a small number of pieces of furniture between buildings on the property. Option: We are open to hiring a pair of people to act as a team for this task--immediate Start.

Job 5) CLEANING CABIN:

A vacated 900 sq ft cabin on the property is soon being converted to a work area. The simple stand-alone 30' x 30' building needs a simple and thorough cleaning--immediate Start.

Job 6) CONCRETE SLAB PREP +/- pour:

Prepping 750 sq ft site for concrete slab on grade, including forms, pouring concrete, trowel finish--optional 2nd slab--immediate Start.

Job 7) CARPENTRY FRAMING:

Building exterior walls between existing pillars to enclose a lean-to attached to an existing workshop. Includes insulating, interior plywood and exterior metal finishing, installing windows and doors. Upcoming Start.

Job 8) BRUSH MOWING on SKIDSTEER:

Operation of Heavy-Duty brush-mower for clearing brush overgrowth. This position will only be filled by an experienced skidsteer operator with mechanical and hydraulic attachment experience.

A position involving spraying some areas with selective herbicides may become available--immediate Start.

TIMELINES:

We may hire a candidate deemed qualified without delay, alternatively some positions may not be filled until early September, so please apply without delay if you are well suited and interested. Thank you and best regards.
