ColdStar Solutions is looking for a 5 Ton Driver to join our team!

The Role

5 Ton Drivers make pick up and deliveries of skidded grocery product to our suppliers and customers from Mill Bay to Victoria

This is a full-time role working Tuesday - Saturday, morning start

The Responsibilities

General P&D activities such as: safe driving, hand bombing, related paperwork, customer service

Communicate effectively and respectfully with dispatchers and customers

Report all incidents and safety hazards in a timely manner to the supervisor or dispatchers

Who You Are

A confident and safe 5 Ton Driver with at least 1 year of professional driving experience and no major driving infractions

A reliable, flexible, and respectful team-player that takes pride in their work

What You Bring

Minimum 1 year of experience driving a 5 Ton truck

Air brake certification and a clean drivers abstract

Ability to drive manual transmission

Knowledge of Central Vancouver Island area

Physically able to lift 50lbs

Flexibility for scheduling

Experience using a pallet jack

Knowledge of reefer settings and food temperature hauling requirements would be great

Compensation:

$24.95 an hour
