We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, communication, and teamwork, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in good condition.
Responsibilities
Operate commercial vehicle (5 Ton Truck) to transport goods to various locations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including moving products and operating forklifts.
Skills
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid class 5 license.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
Experience in warehouse operations is preferred, including familiarity with loading/unloading procedures.
Customer service orientation to ensure a positive experience for clients.
Proficiency in operating forklifts is a plus.
