Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, effective communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. Experience in commercial driving and warehouse operations will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods to various locations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including moving materials.

Experience

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in roles involving heavy lifting and moving. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients during deliveries. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and customers. Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not required; training may be provided.
