We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice/Journeymen Plumber to join our team. Work is located from Vancouver to mission. Looking for experienced plumber able to work on their own with minimal guidance and potentially look after jobs by themselves. Ideally with good experience in wood frame residential new construction but not limited to it. We specialize in commercial and residential new contraction and large renovations.
Duties
Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
Must have experience in ABS DWV residential installations and Pex Crimp water pipe systems.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
Perform basic carpentry tasks as needed for plumbing installations.
Engage in assembly tasks related to plumbing fixtures and equipment.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed on job sites.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in learning more about plumbing systems.
Experience in residential new construction.
Experience in laying out drainage and waster distribution systems.
Familiarity with construction practices and tools used in the trade.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
Experience with hand tools and power tools is preferred.
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
