Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Boom Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating 45 ton picker to assist in construction and completion projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Duties

Operate boom equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on picker. Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate lifting operations and ensure project timelines are met. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Assist in the loading and unloading of materials using picker. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities. Follow all safety protocols to minimize risks on the job site.

Requirements

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with cranes. Strong mechanical knowledge to understand machinery functionality an perform basic repairs. Valid commercial class 1 driving license. Familiarity with farm machinery is a plus. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. Commitment to adhering to safety standards and protocols at all times.
