Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 3rd-4th year apprentice. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude with a strong background in electrical systems, heavily focused in the commercial/residential electrical field. As an apprentice you will work with your direct lead/ foreman on diverse projects, ensuring that all electrical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with relevant codes and regulations. Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks effectively. Collaborate with leadership & coworkers to ensure seamless integration of electrical work within our various commercial construction projects.

Experience

Proven experience in the commercial electrical industry preferred. A willing & positive attitude Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage wiring and control, and fire alarm systems an asset. Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in the electrical trade. Familiar in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical installations. Experience using hand tools and power tools specific to the electrical trade. In good standing with AIT

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.40 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
