Job Summary As a 3ds Max Artist, you will be responsible for creating marketing animations of approximately 30 - 45 seconds. We will provide Step files for the tools and story board. The success of this project can lead to further work.
Position Details

• Position Status: Hybrid (Home and Office)
• Location: Calgary

Duties and Responsibilities

• Using 3D modeling, texture, mapping, and other techniques to create graphics, visual effects, and animations
• Collaborate with other team members to develop the overall vision and determine technical feasibility
• Organizational and time management skills, able to engage in varied projects simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and maintaining deadlines
• Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment delivering consistently high-quality work and troubleshoot technical problems
• Provide innovative solutions and demonstrate expertise in rendering optimization and tool automation
• Ability to create tools to aid in artist and technical workflows
• Experience optimizing and developing render pipelines.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Preferred degree with an emphasis in 3D Art, or Animation, or equivalent work experience.

• Proficient in 3ds Max
• Experienced using V-Ray
• Advanced experience with the Adobe Suite
• Clear understanding of color space, shading, lighting, and rendering methodologies
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Strong portfolio of previous work and completed projects
