Your role

What is the 360 Reporter project?

Are you a current student or recent graduate of Universit\xc3\xa9 de Sherbrooke? Are you a news hound interested in a wide range of topics? Do you thrive on new challenges and have a knack for making complex ideas understandable to others? Do you dream of becoming a journalist? Then you could be our next 360 Reporter!

This 12-week paid journalism internship program runs from May 1 to July 21, 2023, at the Radio-Canada Estrie station in Sherbrooke. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be guided by some of the top journalists in the business as you learn every facet of this exciting profession!

  • Recent or soon-to-be graduates from Universit\xc3\xa9 de Sherbrooke (between April 2022 and April 2023). You too can apply.
Internship Description

The first five weeks of the internship are devoted to learning the tools of the trade and the theory needed to start reporting. It will then be time to dive into production and head out into the field. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be paired with experienced instructors and coaches.

Conditions:
  • The internship is paid per the collective agreement.
  • The internship will take place at the Radio-Canada Estrie station in Sherbrooke.
  • Interns must be available to work full time from May 1 to July 21, 2023, on weekdays.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following:
  • Is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, or has a study permit valid for the duration of the internship.
  • Is a current student or 2022-23 graduate of Universit\xc3\xa9 de Sherbrooke in any discipline.
  • Is committed to quality spoken and written French.
