Diesel Doctorz is growing -- and we're looking for a 310T Mechanic to join our team in Mississauga, ON!
As a 310T Mechanic at Diesel Doctorz, you'll be responsible for the safe operation, repair, rebuilding, and maintenance of heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment. Your work will ensure all vehicles are running safely and efficiently, keeping our clients on the road and running strong.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Inspection & Quality Control:
Perform comprehensive pre-delivery inspections checking for defects, damage, or imperfections
Verify all features and options are installed and functioning correctly
Maintain strict quality control standards throughout delivery process
Coordinate with departments to meet customer expectations and delivery timelines
Mechanical Services (310T Certified Positions):
Diagnose and repair heavy duty diesel trucks, CNG, gas, and electric vehicles
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and annual safety inspections
Conduct repairs on brakes, engines, transmissions, suspension, fuel, exhaust, and electrical systems
Utilize diagnostic tools and software for accurate troubleshooting
Complete CVR compliance checks and ministry documentation
Perform mobile service calls and emergency breakdown repairs
Administrative & Safety:
Maintain accurate records of work performed and time documentation
Complete work orders, inspection reports, and parts ordering
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Maintain clean, organized work environment
Road test vehicles to verify repair completion
Required Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
Valid Ontario Class G license (AZ or DZ license preferred)
310T Truck & Coach Technician Certificate
Clean driving record
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and task-oriented approach
Must have your own tools.
Experience & Skills:
Minimum 1-5 years relevant experience (entry-level considered)
Knowledge of Ontario Highway Traffic Act and CVOR requirements
Experience with diagnostic software and equipment
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Computer literacy and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical diploma or equivalent
Fleet maintenance experience
Knowledge of construction/transportation industry
Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems
Working Conditions
Physical Requirements:
Regular exposure to manufacturing environment including noise, dust, and temperature variations
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Work around heavy equipment and vehicles
