Job Description

Working primarily in Ontario, Almon provides infrastructure maintenance services and products, and has regularly expanded its scope over the past four decades to address customer's needs and market gaps. Almon has developed strong competencies in operations, execution, engineering, customer service, highways and bridge maintenance, traffic control, safety & maintenance and project management.

Almon is also building its first autonomous truck under the Ontario Centers of Excellence Autonomous Vehicle Innovation Network.

The responsibilities include:

Routine inspections and maintenance. System diagnostics. Full automotive troubleshooting and testing. Continuously expanding your knowledge for new technologies and practice. Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures; perform daily equipment inspections, as well as identify and assist in correcting unsafe conditions. Must have your own tools.

What you bring to the table:

310T License. 2 or more years of hands-on experience. Computer-proficient. Data entry. Flexible with schedules, there are times where you would be on-call on weekends. Ability to identify problems quickly. Good attention to details. Good knowledge of Trucks. Effective analytical and communication skills. Efficient reading skills. Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $34.00-$42.00 per hour

Education:

AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:

Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

310T Licence (preferred) Class G Licence (preferred)
Willingness to travel:

50% (preferred)
Work Location: In person
