Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson and or 3rd year Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, construction, and renovation projects, with the ability to interpret complex schematics and blueprints. This role involves performing maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, ensuring safety and compliances with industry standards. The Journeyperson/ Apprentice will play a vital role in supporting ongoing projects across various job locations.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations and repairs accurately. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems including low voltage wiring, and power tools. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to perform construction, renovation, and electrical work on commercial, industrial and residential sites. Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Assist in the planning and execution of electrical projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and building codes. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as maintenance persons and professionals during renovation or construction projects. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability of electrical systems and equipment. Understanding of the Ontario Electrical Code and installation procedures for residential, commercial and industrial. Self-motivated and reliable. Can work alone or as a team member.

Requirements

Valid journeyperson certification, current with Skilled Trades. Valid Driver's Licence with clean abstract. Hand Tools Valid Safety Certifications Reliable Transportation English (Required)

Schedule

Monday to Friday Weekends and On Call as needed

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
