Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with experience in both industrial and construction environments. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with relevant codes and standards. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including installation and troubleshooting. Work on low voltage systems as well as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation processes. Conduct renovations that involve electrical work while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects efficiently. Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and implement corrective measures.

Experience

Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in an industrial setting or construction environment. Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of electrical schematics. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment related to electrical work. Experience working with low voltage systems is a plus. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is desirable but not mandatory. Previous maintenance person experience can be beneficial for this role. Pay: $26.58-$41.69 per hour
