2nd Term Apprentice Roofer

Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time | Onsite - Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ontario

Anticipated Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Hourly:$35.00 per hour + benefits according to Union Provincial Collective Agreement (full-time position)



Pay Schedule: Paid weekly, every Friday


Reports To: Roofing Site Supervisor/Site Foreman

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an Apprentice Roofer to join our field Roofing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and wants to contribute to meaningful, high-impact projects.

What You'll Do

Sweep and clean roofs to prepare them for the application of new roofing materials Provide assistance to skilled roofers installing and repairing roofs, flashings, and surfaces Remove old roofing materials Prepare roofs for re-roofing or new roofing projects Assist with the installation, repair and replacement of built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt-saturated felts, hot asphalt and gravel Assist with the application of waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level Pour hot asphalt and tar Clean and maintain equipment Set up ladders, scaffolds, and hoists in place for taking supplies to roofs

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Hand-eye co-ordination Physically demanding; Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads; Large workload Repetitive tasks, overtime required, work under pressure, fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial flat roofing
