Predator Ridge is hiring a dependable and motivated

2nd Cook

to support our culinary team throughout the season. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their kitchen experience in a professional, team-oriented environment while working in one of BC's most beautiful resort settings.

You'll assist with food prep, maintain clean stations, and help deliver consistent, high-quality dishes during service.

Duties

Maintain a guest focus while performing duties. Efficiently prepare food as directed. Assume responsibility for the quality of products served. Learn and practice culinary skills leading to performance excellence. o Comply with industry food safety standards. Maintain a level of food preparation consistent with business levels and leadership direction. Ensure sanitary cooking conditions and appropriate safe food handling is adhered to. Effectively manage opening, closing and daily duties. Monitor stock necessary to carry out daily duties. Report all safety hazards to reduce accidents. Comply with all operating procedures and policies of Predator Ridge Resort. Perform other related duties assigned by the management team. Supervise in the absence of 1st Cook.

Skills

1 year experience. Take direction and work with minimal supervision. WHMIS. Flexibility work schedule required. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing and lift heavy objects on a regular basis while working in a high-pressure environment.

Pay: $17.40-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
