About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced

Animator (2D/3D)

to help us

update existing technical installation videos

and

create new animations

that clearly demonstrate step-by-step product installation processes for our contractors and tile installers. These videos will be used across digital platforms, including YouTube and social media.

We are a manufacturer of building and home improvement products, and our visuals must convey clarity, precision, and a polished professional look.

Scope of work will include modernizing exiting videos and creating new ones in similar style to maintain consistency.

Responsibilities:

Update and modernize existing installation videos using supplied CAD files, images, and voiceovers or scripts. Create new technical animations from scratch, based on written or sketched installation guides. Collaborate with our marketing team to ensure animations align with brand style and instructional clarity. Optimize videos for YouTube and other digital platforms (titles, thumbnails, aspect ratios, etc.). Incorporate product callouts, highlights, text overlays, and transitions to enhance viewer understanding.

Ideal Candidate:

Proficient in 2D/3D animation software

(e.g., After Effects, Blender, Cinema 4D, Adobe Premiere, etc.).

Experience creating technical or instructional animations

, especially for building products, tools, or similar. Comfortable working with

CAD files, 3D product models, or engineering diagrams

. Ability to create clean, minimalist animations that emphasize step-by-step logic and clarity. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate on revisions. Portfolio or reel demonstrating relevant animation work is required.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of home renovation or construction processes. Experience editing or animating videos in multiple languages or with subtitles. Ability to add voiceovers or recommend voice talent.
