Youtooz creates designer toys for the heroes and role models of the internet — Youtubers, Instagram influencers, celebrities, rappers, and more. Our mission is to bring the people you already love to watch and keep up with on the internet in real life, on your desk at work, your shelf in your bedroom or even in your living room for everyone to see. Youtooz are incredibly personal and unique to each creator and customer and comes with a variety of unique perks.

As a Character Artist at Youtooz, you will take the Youtooz world and bring it to life. You’ll be responsible for taking an idea and turning it into a Youtooz Product all the way from an ideation to finished design.

Responsibilities

• Take an idea and turn it into a finished Youtooz Concept
• Work with pantone, creating guides for production
• Create turnarounds and vector work for the 3D Artists
• Organize work internally in an easy to understand way
• Meet design deadlines
• Help improve our creative process
• Work quickly in a deadline-driven environment with minimal direction

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in concept art, character design or a related feild
• Degree in 2D Animation, Character Design, Concept Art or a related discipline
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to quickly create and execute concept art
• Knowledge of 2D programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, ProCreate, Sketchbook, or other drawing software
• Knowledge of 2D Practices such as Silhouette, Space, Proportion, Anatomy, Expression, and any other concept related practice
