POSITION OVERVIEW This position operates within a national police computer system, undertaking crucial data entry responsibilities essential for processing operational and clerical assignments with precision and speed, ensuring the system's real-time accuracy. The role demands a comprehensive understanding of system codes and various types of information specified in RCMP policy. Responsibilities include sending out narrative messages, as well as entering, modifying, and removing warrants on court records. Additionally, the role involves verifying information entered by other staff, consistently updating and revising entries, and conducting daily audits of all detachment entries. Furthermore, the incumbent conducts a monthly review of data validation and purge lists, ensuring the integrity and reliability of the information within the system. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Completion of Grade 12, including or supplemented by typing and commercial courses and CPIC terminal operator's course, plus sound related experience, preferably in the Police Department or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
