About the Role
Globe FC operates
6 Summer Camp locations
across Hamilton and Stoney Creek, providing a recreation-based soccer camp for children ages
4-12
. Our campers enjoy a mix of
team games, soccer activities, creative challenges, and daily afternoon swims
.
Camps run
Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm
, and campers are registered by week. In addition to camp, counselors assist with our
House League program
, held
1-2 evenings per week in Hamilton
.
House League coaches help create an inclusive and positive soccer experience for players, focusing on teamwork, skill development, and fun.
What You'll Do
Lead and supervise groups of children (ages 4-12) in daily camp soccer games and activities.
Maintain a safe, positive, and high-energy environment that encourages participation.
Enter the shallow end of the pool daily to assist and supervise campers during swim time.
Support or lead House League sessions 1-2 evenings per week.
Follow the camp curriculum and contribute creative new games and ideas.

Qualifications & Requirements
Available to work for
all 8 weeks
of Summer Camp (May 10-Aug 29, 2025) + 1-2 evenings in the week
Comfortable engaging with children ages 4-12.
Willing and able to maintain high energy for the full 8-hour camp day.
Able to commute within
Hamilton, Stoney Creek, or Ancaster
.
Must be willing to enter the shallow end of the pool daily.
Previous coaching, teaching, or childcare experience is an asset -- training provided!
Preferred Experience (not mandatory):
1+ year experience as a Camp Counselor, Coach, or After-School Leader.
Enthusiastic, team-oriented, and dependable.
Positive communication skills and a strong sense of leadership.
Passion for soccer and working with kids.
Provide a Valid Police check
