Position Summary



In addition to case managing a specialized, reduced caseload as part of the Wiisocotatiwin-Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, the Clinical Team Lead is responsible for providing clinical leadership to all members of the ACT team. The Team Lead provides consultation, support and direction to staff around the daily activities as it pertains to service delivery of its Participants within the ACT Program. This includes providing one to one clinical supervision, consultation, and mini team case planning meetings.

This Program works within an Assertive Community Treatment Model and utilizes the Housing First Principles from a social justice orientation which includes harm reduction, pro-choice, social determinants of health, human rights, social development, population health, health equality and trauma informed, client centered practice.

Qualifications



Education



Post-Secondary Degree in a Clinical Field of Study Membership in good standing with the governing body in the clinical area of expertise

Skills, Expertise, and Experience



Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the social work field, including direct service in a community-based environment Experience working with inner city residents, Indigenous persons, newcomers and others who experience barriers and challenges in the health and social service system

Proven knowledge and ability in critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and focus work-related activities to effectively and efficiently achieve service goals and produce expected results/outcomes
