Job Summary

This role will be supporting the RBC GAM Corporate Events team with coordination and administrative needs for employee-facing and client-facing meetings and events. This is an opportunity for a student to work alongside a highly collaborative team, and gain working insight into corporate communications, events and employee engagement in the asset management industry.



What will you do?

  • Support events team with planning and on-site execution of meetings and events.
  • Support the distribution and administration of event invitations and the development and maintenance of online registration tools
  • Support the events team with monitoring inboxes and tracking updates on team documentation; to assist with the overall focus of the Corporate Events team.
What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • 1 \xe2\x80\x93 2 years studying toward university undergraduate degree or college diploma in a related field (event management, hospitality, tourism, marketing).
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work accordingly, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication (oral and written) skills
  • Flexibility in work hours. On-site event support and/or travel to and from events is often required outside of normal workday hours.
  • Proactive outlook
  • Problem resolution
  • Team player with strong service orientation
Nice-to-have
  • Technical skills (HTML coding, ease of learning new computer programs, etc..)
  • Bilingual (French / English)
