JOB OVERVIEW

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for dynamic, strategic and results-driven students to join our team in the role of Co-op / Developmental Student and Skilled Trade Student. We have two opportunities available at our Renfrew and Hayley Station locations. These positions are 100% on site and will require the successful candidate to live in the area. There are positions available for both four (4) and eight (8) month work terms and start in May, 2024.

The compensation rate for these positions starts at $25.83 per hour and will commensurate with experience.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

All students must:

Be currently enrolled as a full-time, post-secondary student in a recognized institution.

Have completed a minimum of 1st year in college OR an undergraduate program at university by the start of the opportunity.

Have a minimum average of 70% cumulative GPA.

Be returning to full-time studies in the same program following the completion of the work term OR require the work term or co-op placement to graduate.
