The Environmental Remediation Management portfolio supports the Government of Canada\'s commitment to a clean and healthy environment for Canadians. Innovative technologies, modern facilities and technical expertise are provided in support of the safe storage and long-term management of radioactive waste. Redundant buildings and infrastructure are decommissioned in a prioritized manner reducing the legacy liability and associated risks and site operating costs. Environmental remediation processes apply systematic risk assessments, based on sound science and remediation solutions that help ensure all activities are protective of the environment and human health.
This is an exciting opportunity for a business or environmental studies student to integrate business knowledge with environmental and sustainability responsibilities.
