Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radio Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and interest of telecommunications, with hands-on experience in programming, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting radio communication systems. This role requires the ability to work with low voltage systems and a solid foundation in vehicle, electrical knowledge.

Duties

Program, instal, service and maintain radio communication equipment and systems. for customers Troubleshoot and repair issues related to radio transmissions and reception. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to conduct repairs and installations. Provide training and guidance to clients in all aspects of the use of their 2Way radio and POC equipment Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal performance of telecommunication systems. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on radio equipment. Proactively meet with clients for service calls both at Sundance service shop and client's place of business Document all work performed, including repairs, installations, and system upgrades. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience in the 2way Radio or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with hand tools effectively. Experience with vehicle electrical systems is essential. Must have experience in computer programs and a strong aptitude for information technology Must have a driver's license with a good driving record and must be familiar with the city of Calgary Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
