Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of items for wholesale food production
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation to ensure freshness of ingredients
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
