This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are beginning their journey in the electrical field. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of experienced electricians to assist with installations, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems while receiving hands-on training and mentorship. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using hand and power tools.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as wiring outlets, light fixtures, and circuit breakers under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Participate in classroom training sessions as part of the apprenticeship program.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Enrollment in or completion of a basic electrical training program is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and reliable transportation.
