1 On 1 Support Educator
Job Description
: The 1-on-1 Support Educator will play an important role in providing individualized support for a child within our inclusive early learning environment. This position involves close collaboration with the team to foster the child's development and promote positive interactions throughout the day.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the child's participation in classroom routines and learning experiences
Facilitating meaningful and developmentally appropriate play
Encouraging peer relationships and guiding social-emotional development
Observing and documenting the child's growth to help inform responsive planning
Collaborating with educators, families, and external support professionals to ensure consistency and care
Promoting equity, inclusion, and a sense of belonging for all children
We are seeking someone who is reflective, compassionate, and committed to inclusive early learning practices.
Contract Timeline: June 1, 2025 to March 26, 2026 (possible extension)
